On June 24, 2019, Jilin University and Hexagon signed a cooperation agreement to establish a "smart car simulation joint laboratory". Only half a month later, on July 9, "Jilin University-Hexagon MSC Intelligent Car Simulation Joint Laboratory" was officially unveiled. This reflects the sincerity of the cooperation between the two parties and the determination and efficiency of promoting cooperation!

Guan Xin, Dean of Automotive Engineering Research Institute of Jilin University, Yangtze River Scholar, Vice President of China Automotive Engineering Society, Gao Zhenhai, Dean of College of Automotive Engineering, Zhan Jun, Vice President, and Deyang Yang, General Manager of Hexagon Precision Measurement Division, Wang Zhenhuan , MSC Greater China Sales Director Zhang Hui, Marketing Manager Guo Yin, AutonomouStuff China Sales and Business Development Director Ren Dunzhen, and Education Industry Senior Manager Zheng Maoqi attended the unveiling ceremony.

After the licensing ceremony, Ren Dunzhen, Director of AutonomouStuff, introduced the application of Hexagon Group’s AutonomouStuff, NovAtel, and Leica in self-driving car solutions.

At the meeting, the two parties further exchanged views on the cooperation of follow-up intelligent driving, Internet of Vehicles, training of automotive professionals, scientific research and development, MSC software, AutonomouStuff, NovAtel, Leica and other products. The two sides are also discussing and planning a larger scale of cooperation, an updated cooperation model, and a wider range of cooperation fields, such as Hexagon & Jilin University Program Display and Research Teaching Center, etc.
